Financial Stability Help From the Fed

Considering the aforementioned acronym laden central banking institution, the Federal Reserve board has a vested interest in promoting financial stability. Using its illustrious predecessor, the brash and boisterous Bear, the Fed has a history dating back to the Great Depression of the 1930s. It is for this reason that the Fed has taken the requisite precautions and has been aggressive in releasing information on a regular basis.
